Our client is an early-stage VC fund investing in Deeptech across various sectors. Their mission is to identify and support cutting-edge deeptech companies that will shape the future of human health or planet preservation by providing capital and strategic guidance.

Part of the thesis is to build an asset-centric model, co-found companies, and co-invent new science together with founding teams. In this respect, they are also a company-builder.

To support their setup, they’re looking for a Senior Partner (GP) to lead investments, and shape the fund’s strategy. You’ll have decision-making power, work closely with LPs, and help build a portfolio of companies redefining the deeptech landscape.
 

As a Senior Partner Deeptech you will:

• Define & execute the fund’s investment thesis, identifying high-impact early-stage deeptechs.
  
• Build breakthrough deepchnology companies, closely working with Entrepreneurs-In-Residence (EIRs) to identify transformative innovation from around the world
  
• Source deals through your established industry network and by attending key industry events.
• Engage with LPs to raise capital and communicate the fund’s vision. You will present a compelling narrative that connects our mission with tangible outcomes.

About you 

• Experience: At least 8 years of experience in venture capital or deeptech, with a proven track record of scientific results or managing early-stage investments.
  
• Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of deeptech sectors. You should have strong relationships with key players in this industry and be able to leverage your network to source promising deals.
• Entrepreneurial Drive: A demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You thrive in ambiguity and are capable of making bold decisions with limited data.
• Languages: You are fluent in English.

This role can be based in Boston or NYC.
